If you find yourself at a loose end in the East End of Adelaide’s CBD, Ballaboosta provides a warm, buzzy, and welcoming atmosphere for anyone to come and enjoy cheap, homemade-style Middle-Eastern and Mediterranean food and coffee.
Opened in 2015, Ballaboosta already holds a loyal and regular following (including yours truly!). An attractive, yet off-the-beaten-track kind of venue, a roaring wood oven in the corner churns out delicious, puffy, and thin flat breads and amazing pizzas, while an impeccably trained barista brews your favourite hot or cold drink.
While their pizzas are a bit heavy on the pocket at $17, they’re massive and are made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients that would easily fill two people!
From sitting outside and enjoying the sun, to inside next to the stunning original wood pizza oven, Ballaboosta has served up beautiful and vibrantly coloured food and delicious coffee since opening on Halifax Street in 2015.
Want to go there? They’re at 289 Halifax Street, open ‘til 9:30 every day (except for Sundays when they close at 4).
